Structured Walks

This is not your typical dog walking service! Here at Pawsitive Luxury, we focus on ensuring that your pup enjoys their walk, while teaching and reinforcing awesome leash manners. As dog walkers, we believe that it is necessary to utilize skills and proper techniques in order to avoid injuries, increased reactivity, and a poor mindset surrounding walks.

Our overall goals include: making walks more safe and enjoyable for both your dog and their walker and getting your dog the physical and mental enrichment they need.

During this service, we can work on concerns surrounding leash training, reactivity, socialization, and confidence building! We have great success with using methods derived from evidence-based research.  Our priority is creating a comfortable environment for your canine companion to learn to trust themselves, their handler, and the world they occupy.

However, we understand that you may already have preferences for certain walking methods, tools, etc. and we’re happy to work with you! This service is designed to suit everyone.  Whether your dog needs extra help with any of the above areas of concern or they simply require more activity when you are busy, working, or out of town, you can rest assured that your dog is in the experienced hands of someone who wants to see them thrive!

Specific goals and planning will be dependent on the dog and can be customizable to puppies, seniors, and any other specific needs.

*Feeding and other types of care that are part of the dog’s regular routine can be done within the allotted walk time as well!

*Specific methods, products, walking tools, etc. are only ever used with the client’s consent.

Sniffari Adventure

Our structured walks help with leash manners, obedience, and the dog learning important skills. The sniffari adventure focuses on fun and a different type of enrichment. There is a time and place for both, so we offer both! Allow us to transport your dog(s) from their home to a location in town (that will vary each time). Here, they can relax and sniff to their hearts content. Dogs’ most prominent sense is their smell and it’s how they most commonly interact with the world around them. They benefit greatly from having the ability to wander and take in the scents. All walks at Pawsitive Luxury occur on leash only.

Potty Break & Quick Care

Fifteen minutes of care in your home. For dogs, this service typically includes a potty break, fresh water, and a treat. For cats or other small animals, this service includes feeding, fresh water, a treat, and litter scooping.

For canine feeding that takes more time, other animal feedings that take longer preparation, medication administration, cage cleaning, litter boxes that require a full change, and animals that want more time and interaction, please book from our various check in options (30 minutes and up).

Check Ins / Daytime Pet Sitting

Working long hours? Leaving town? Choose a time that best suits your dog, cat, small or exotic animal’s needs. Different service lengths allow us to help maintain your pet’s regular routine. Whether they’re happy with a short check in or require longer visits for more attention and socialization, we’ve got you covered!

Services provided are customizable to your pet’s individual needs. This may include feedings, dish cleaning and fresh water, potty break, litter scoop or change, accident cleanup, cage cleanup, medication administration, and indoor and/or outdoor enrichment.

Overnight Care and Pet Sitting

Does your pet do better in the comfort of their own home? Do they sleep better when someone is home throughout the night? Will having your pet and home monitored allow you to feel more peace while you’re away? The answer for many is “yes”. That’s why we offer overnight care!

The Sleepover includes bedtime routine to breakfast routine, with a professional staying in your home over night to provide comfort to your pet and monitor your home in case of emergencies.
